History Audiology Program was established in 20.03.2019 in Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Health Sciences and the undergraduate education has started in fall semester in 2020-2021.
Our department graduates earn the “Audiologist” title. Our department program has 4-year in full time education. Education language is Turkish. The courses are both theoretical and practical. Our students have responsibilities to do field work and internships in institutions, to prepare reports, seminars, research projects and to make oral presentations.
Mission Our mission as an audiology department is; approaching the audiological problems adequately by supplying high standard knowledge and providing research opportunities to the students and community, and training audiologists with highest skills in both health services and scientific research by implementing principles of audiology science to students, and improving problem solving skills in their profession.
Vision The Department of Audiology aims to have the ability to work independently. We value the importance of cooperation with the scientific entrepreneurial spirit and interdisciplinary approach. We also aim to have national and international leadership qualities in evidence-based clinical education, using knowledge and contributing to science.
